The Court Reporter Committee is a work group, and its mandate is to determine the position of the official court reporter in the Quebec legal field. It covers, among other issues, the code of ethics, uniform testing and rules of practice.

The Court Reporter Committee is effective as of May 1st, 2006 as dictated by Decree 240-2006 which you may consult in the Gazette officielle du Québec.

Please also note that official court reporters must be subscribed on the Court Reporters’ Board
